Chaos is protection.
And this is not a contradiction.
That's what I understood when I start studying chaotic systems.
The one I studied was Lorenz System, and I cannot forget that question I've been asked by Egnonam Kérol Howard ADJIWANOU when I was talking about it to him, Olatundé Aymane Arèmou OUSMANE and Charmant Balogoun.
The question was : "What can chaos ever been used for ?"
The first thing I could think of was random number generation, in cryptography.
As I continued the search, I discovered that there is something called "Chaos Based Peudo Random Number Generation".
And today I present to you my exploratory study : Quantization Techniques in Chaos-Based Pseudo-Random Numbers Generators (PRNG).
In the wide space of algorithms for #PNRG with application in cryptography, one of the crucial steps is the quantization of the solutions of the chaotic system.
As you know, random number generation is quite a critical thing in cryptography, and most of our digital systems depends on it.
This work is also an answer to the above question, and a summary of what I learnt. By the way, I made an implementation in #Julia to generate random number based on Lorenz's System.
I don't have a particular preference for Lorenz's system, just the only one I studied for now 😂
Take a look at it when possible, and let me know about your questions.
Take a look at the github repo, with all the infos on the code and the paper : https://lnkd.in/ep_du2x6
